These two projects demonstrate how exhibition design can address specific communication challenges. At Sappi, the material itself highlights the brand’s expertise. At STILL, a clearly structured architectural design brings to life the interplay of complex intralogistics solutions. To achieve this, ET GLOBAL combines brand strategy, creative conception, architecture and implementation into a cohesive, integrated concept.
Sappi at interpack 2026: How does paper become a design element?
ET GLOBAL developed a two-storey brand space for Sappi, in which paper was used in ways that went far beyond mere product presentation. A floating installation made of paper webs made the display recognisable even from a distance. Paper plants, floral light fittings and furniture made of paper and cork carried the design concept through to the interior décor.
This allowed visitors to discover the material’s potential directly within the space. The architecture, exhibits and furnishings conveyed a shared narrative and established a direct link to Sappi’s expertise in materials.
What does this mean for other brands? When a material becomes an integral part of the architecture, its potential applications can be clearly demonstrated. The product then shapes the entire brand experience.

STILL at LogiMAT 2026: How does architecture provide clarity within a complex portfolio?
For STILL, the focus was on communicating technological solutions in an accessible way. Under the motto “Think Smart. Act Orange.”, ET GLOBAL created a two-storey brand space covering approximately 712 square metres. A central atrium, serving as the “Innovation Spot”, formed the focal point for discussion, product presentations and live experiences.
Themed demonstration areas showcased applications in automation, smart fleet solutions, energy management, electric forklift trucks and warehouse technology. Suspended LED elements divided the areas. Custom-developed video content illustrated products and applications.
A highlight was the world premiere of the AXL iGO, a solution for the autonomous loading and unloading of lorries. The presentation was integrated into the overall concept and was complemented by a performance from a breakdance duo.

From brand strategy to implementation
The projects illustrate ET GLOBAL’s self-image as a strategic creative partner for spatial brand communication. The starting point is the question of what message visitors should take away with them. From this, the company develops the design concept and its interplay with materials, media and live formats.
Dr Magnus Ekerot, CEO of ET GLOBAL, comments:
The awards also recognise the close collaboration with Sappi and STILL, as well as with the design, project and implementation teams involved. With its 14th and 15th German Design Awards, ET GLOBAL is building on previous successes: as early as 2026, the trade fair stand for SEW-EURODRIVE at the Hannover Messe was honoured with an award.“We develop brand spaces based on the communication brief. At Sappi, the material itself brings the brand’s expertise to life. At STILL, the architecture helps people to understand complex solutions and engage in dialogue with one another. Our aim is to combine strategy, design and implementation in such a way that every element contributes to the central idea.”
