23 booths and 90 truckloads for the Hannover Messe

Global industry representatives come together every spring in Lower Saxony: The Hannover Messe is the largest industrial fair in the world. 6,500 companies from 70 countries will present their ideas, technologies and product innovations from April 25 to 29, 2016. Expotechnik is represented there with a total of 23 trade fair concepts, including exhibits for SEW Eurodrive, Fraunhofer Institute, Balluff, Phoenix Contact, Infosys, ATB Austria and Socomec.

Getting a close-up look at advancing, digital networking of all manner of industrial processes, experiencing first-hand how new systems shape the production of the future, taking a look at the energy supply of tomorrow, discovering innovative solutions for global industrial supply chains and future-oriented research projects – that’s what the Hannover Messe 2016 is all about. This international industrial fair is an important platform for knowledge transfer and business relations. It combines five leading trade fairs and all the core industrial sectors under one roof: from research and development, to industrial automation and IT, from supply, production technologies and services to energy and mobility technologies.

A particular highlight this year is a visit from US President Barack Obama. The USA – the land of unlimited possibilities and the world’s largest economy – is the official partner country of the industry fair for the very first time. The President insisted on visiting Germany personally to open the Hannover Messe 2016 together with Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel. The United States is presented as a pioneer and important supplier of Industry 4.0 technologies in Hanover. 250 US companies are presenting their solutions for the digitally connected industry. Energy efficiency and energy generation, state-of-the-art production technology, education and training, and transatlantic partnerships are the main focus.

This time, Expotechnik is represented at the industrial fair with a total of 23 trade fair concepts for numerous customers. One logistical challenge that our logistics specialists successfully mastered was packing 90 truckloads of brand architecture for transportation to Hanover. Now we are looking forward to the exciting days of the exhibition.
